Dave's Devon Loop 105 km return loop on newly paved road, out past Genesee power plant, through the valley twice, and back to Devon.

Pigeon Lake 60km Loop A terrific 60km loop around the lake with amenities available on Hwy 13 to resupply.

Sherwood Park - Antler Lake Loops Rolling and winding terrain out and around Antler Lake, amenities available at 60km mark, crossing of Wye Road.

St. Albert - Tour d'Alberta Loop A 110km loop north west of St. Albert through Legal and Mornville.

Thanks to Marc, Tara and Trevor for running this criterium race smoothly and ad-hoc.

47 Racers showed up last night and here's the top 5 results of the A and B group:

B- Group, 35 racers, 25 min + 3 laps:

Perogy MTB Race- Alberta Cup #2-

The Perogy XC Race sponsored by UNITED CYCLE was a huge success, well organised and successfull for UNITED CYCLE!

It did not rain and the music was good, 2 wins for the United Cycle Race Team!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT TERWILLEGAR PARK PRE- RIDE

This Wednesday I will be leaving United Cycle @ 6pm to pre- ride the Perogy XC MTB course in Terwillegar Park.

The ride will be easy and I will be riding 1- 2 laps on the race course!

If you do want me to meet you in Terwillegar Park, please make sure to be ready to go on the parking lot @ 6:45pm.

April 27

Group Ride April 27th 2008 @ NOON.

Tomorrow looks like it is going to be a really nice day for a longer road ride. United Cycle Race Team and TTP are bundling up again for a group ride for about 3.5 hrs. Other club members are welcome too on this ride!!

The ride will be leaving @ NOON from the Sobeys/Tim Horton's parking lot on the corner of Wye Rd and Clover Bar Rd. All we would ask is that you have up to date ABA insurance. This can be purchased at United Cycle for only $35.00. The insurance will be needed for any ride in Alberta with a club.

So, with that said, make sure that you show up before 12:00pm and bring lots of food and fluids (maybe even some cash).

Leave the i-pod at home!
